Kansas City

Here is a picture I shot of downtown Kansas City. I love the bold colors from city shots.. it may be one of my favorites!

Just being able to walk around and capture every small moment of life with diversity is awesome!

Direction

Everyday we are faced with challenges but how we hadle those challanges is what makes us who we are. As I am growing as a photographer I have noticed where I have grown and which direction I want to grow towards. Hearing the amazing news that I have been approved for my studio space I feel that I will be even closer to growing in that direction. Are you ready for the amazing photography that is about to drop your jaw?!

Follow Focus Photography don't get left behind! ;)

Here are some shots from the wedding I shot at the Longview Mansion. It was a great time with an amazing family! It was a very windy day but the sun glistened off everyone's smile!

Photography Workshop

On Saturday I attended a photography workshop and I am so thankful for everyone who helped put it on! It was very informational and gave me tips that I hope will further me in the photography world.

First thing I need to focus on is my 'Why' followed by my 'How' and 'What'.. it really got me thinking about my photography and the direction I want it to grow.

Holly & Kurt:e-session

I absolutely loved this e-session with Holly and Kurt. They were referred to me by Holly's older sister who is a really good friend of mine. We had an amazing location for such a fun easy going couple as we stomped through brush and trees on a cool fall evening. Thank you guys! I cant wait for the wedding!

Score!

Emery played his last game of the season with a great game! He put all he had in the game as his family stood on the side lines cheering him on. The could not have been anymore perfect with the sun warming the skin in the early morning breeze.

The first image is Emery running across the field with the soccer ball to score another goal. The next image is Emery's father Tim giving him a father son pep talk on the field. The words that were said will stay between them :)

Thanks Emery for a great game!
